Students should be re-reading and re-writing their own chapter notes Daily. You should test yourself with chapter review and study review sections constantly. If you have to rely on your book for all answers than you dont have a firm grasp on the material. If you ever think or say you have no homework you will never obtain the grade you are capable of.

***CHANGE***11/02/01 One page paper due on Friday Nov 2nd***NOW DUE ON MONDAY WE NEED TO GO OVER SPECIFIC DIRECTIONS Paper can be about any type of cell,however do not write about a general cell like a general plant or animal cell.Try the links and come up with some great single cell pests that cause sickness or some cells from the human body that can get injured or become diseased You must define, draw,and describe its structures and what functions the cell performs. Do not take up your whole page with a drawing and leave only a little room for some context.If these cells become injured or diseased write about this as well, what can help or correct the condition, or what can be done to prevent the condition.

You must follow the seven point format. If you do not YOU WILL NOT get full credit. If some of you are having difficulties with the stain being to dark start thinking of ways to improve the process and how you are going to include this in your conclusion. ***** remember you do not have to get the perfect product in lab.f you know how and why your lab went askew, AND you can explain that in your conclusion,you will be demonstrating understanding of the material at a higher level.       If you are planning to use the internet your source must be checked by me first. If I dont O.K. it stick with a science periodicle or article from the newspaper or reliable science weekly.
12/3/01 start your lab write up
        your lab information is located on pg 120 of your text book. Your observations are based on what happened to the test tubes I prepared for your class. Most had a definite color change with the germinating seeds.Two classes had a slight colorchange with the boiled seeds. Include why this may have happened in your conclusions.If you had no color change for the boiled then you should be able to draw a specific conclusion from that result.
