Concert Attire
Students are asked to dress appropriately on the night of the concert.  Black bottoms and white tops.  Boys are asked to wear dress pants, dress shirt, tie and shoes.  Girls are asked to wear a dress or skirt/pants with a blouse and shoes.  No jeans, tee shirts or sneakers please.   If these garments are not in your wardrobe, do not buy new clothes (unless you want to do so).   Please make the appropriate substitutions.  As explained to the students in class, they may substitute a dark color (gray, blue, brown, green) on the bottom, a light color (cream, beige, eggshell, off-white) on the top, boots or black sneakers if necessary. 

If your instrument seems to be out of tune, you can use the tuning notes below. You'll need to use your ear to match the pitches.

*Hint: If you hear a wave when you play with the tone on the site, it is not in tune. Adjust your fine tuning peg until the wave goes away. Be careful not to over tighten the large tuning peg at the top of the instrument if it is very far from the pitch. (You don't want to break a string.) If you are afraid to try this, just bring it in and I will help you.
