This book is a wonderful reference for multiple behavior problems. It is divided into 2 sections, Goals and Objectives, and Interventions. One hundred and ten behaviors are described by a goal statement and up to 15 stated objectives. The interventions coincide with the goals and objectives by number. The behaviors described include learning problems, social skill issues, physical symptoms, and inappropriate behavior or feelings under normal circumstances. Each behavior is followed by 10 to 55 possible intervention strategies appropriate for use in schools. "CHAMPs" Randall Sprick, Sopris West Publishing This resource book provides the tools needed to set up an effective classroom management plan. The program is based on the belief that if the teacher informs the students of class expectations and routines, the students will meet those expectations. It also addresses the need for class motivation and celebrations and offers suggestions based on level of structure and age of students. Identifying types of problem behavior and possible ways of changing inappropriate behavior is also addressed. Many teacher friendly forms are already included to help with the implementation of this system.
