This week we are wrapping up our fractions unit through the creation of flip books. In lieu of a major test (we recently had a lengthy quiz), the students will be creating books to demonstrate their knowledge of fraction vocabulary and performing operations with fractions. The students have been provided with a rubric outlining the criteria for this project if you are interested in assisting your child.
Our next unit will be on probability. We will be exploring theoretical as well as experimental probability which will lead us into the study of ratio and proportion.
