Here is the list of pages you should have in your Call of the Wild folder: 1. Reading schedule 2. Quiz activity on the Yukon Territory 3. List of characters 4. Questions on Jack London 5. Notes on Darwinism and Naturalism 6. Quiz on chapter 2 7. Worksheet titled "The Adaptation" 8. Quiz on chapter 4 A note to parents: We are reading The Call of the Wild in class. Some of the language is difficult for students, so I suggest the use of Cliff's Notes if your student is having trouble. These cost a few dollars and can be found at most bookstores or teacher supply stores. I would like to emphasize, however, that the use of Cliff's Notes is to be supplemental to the reading of the actual text! The text should ALWAYS be read first, and the Notes used only for reinforcement. Reading schedule for Call of the Wild: Chapter 2 - 1/11 Chapter 3 - 1/14 Chapter 4 - 1/16 Chapter 5 - 1/18 Chapters 6 and 7 - 1/22 Chapter 8 - 1/24 Chapter 9 - 1/30
