During the 3rd six weeks, the fourth grade students will be exploring the following concepts:
1. The Sun is the major source of energy for Earth.
2. Water is recycled in nature through the water cycle.
3. The Sun plays a role in the creation of wind.
4. Patterns of climate occur on Earth.
5. Daytime and nighttime are a result of Earth's rotation on its axis.
6. Evidence of the rotation of Earth can be observed in the movement of shadows.

Student Council is collecting cans of food for their annual food drive. Please send cans with your child to help the 4th graders win a movie party on Tuesday, November 24th. The contest ends Thursday, November 19th.
4th grade field trip to the Museum of Natural Science will take place on Monday, November 23rd.
