Here you can see what assignments were given each day, if there were any quizzes lately that you may have missed, and if any tests or projects are coming up soon. You can also practice our vocabulary using activities that I create and post, doing online "flashcards," matching games, word searches, and more. Use this website as a tool as you learn! 5 septiembre (jueves) : turn in HW from yesterday (list of verbs you can remember from Spanish 1) using the red box on the front table, get the reference packet, the song packet, the 50 verb list, and the cultural experience assignment from the front table. Go over those requirements. Get the class expectations packet as well and discuss. HW = 1) complete pp. 3 and 4 of the expectations packet, and 2) study the first 25 of the verbs for a RECOGNITION/ matching quiz that we'll have on Tuesday. 6 septiembre (viernes) : get official seats today, meet your new neighbors, turn in homework to red box, take Spanish 2A pretest today, discuss the CULTURAL EXPERIENCE PROJECT a little more, and listen to the first song in our song packet ("Fotografía" by Juanes and Nelly Furtado). HW = study the first 25 verbs for our TUESDAY QUIZ. Culture project --> get out into the community and experience Hispanic culture! Take a photo of yourself at the experience, and get that to me, along with a note from Mom or Dad verifying that you didn't just photoshop yourself into a scene. Look at the destruction in Colorado and in Mexico from heavy rains, share good news, correct the top of p.8 together, learning better how shoe verbs work. Read chapter 2 together, and look at some photos from Chile.
