MRS. BILEK'S SIXTH GRADE HOME PAGE

                                                                Week of November 9 - November 13
Parents:

We are currently sharing the scary  stories that were written just before the end of the month.  Each student is doing an oral presentation.  They will be graded on the presentation.

Narratives are about ready to be returned.  I have been grading them, a few a night.  They will be posted in the room and then placed in their writing folder.  We are keeping a cumlative folder of all of our writing for the year.

We are have just started Egypt.  Our maps are done and we are reading Mummies, Tombs and Treasures in class.  They are answering questions related to each chapter.  After we finish that, we will begin in our textbooks.

In literature we are beginning Freak the Mighty.  This is a story about frienship and how physical differences do not matter in the friendship.  A great story!
