Welcome to BIMM! This class provides opportunities to use sound, graphics, text, images, video, and animation in informational presentations. Students will develop necessary skills and obtain hands-on experiences working with a variety of multimedia tools. Check this site regularly!
Units of Study include:
Unit 1: Image Management--Speech Recognition, Document Imaging, Digital and Scanned Imaging, and Optimizing Images for Web Publication.
Unit 2: Publishing Systems--Desktop Publishing and Web Publishing
Unit 3: Multimedia Presentation--Using Design Templates, Using Outline View and Clipart, Using Embedded Visuals, Creating Presentations Containing OLE Documents, Adding Video and Sound to slide shows, Publishing Slide Shows on Web Sites
Unit 4: Business Environment
Unit 5: Put it all together with Projects-Based Learning--Simulations in Business Image Management and Multimedia using PowerPoint, Adobe Premiere, Authorware, Flash, and Dreamweaver.
