Here are some great sites to use to investigate biographies! Many of them will link to each other. When searching for people, it is best to use last name first, and, in some cases, put the entire name in quotation marks. AND, probably the #1 thing to remember.... Just because it's on the internet, that doesn't mean it's true! You should always try to corroborate the information with a print source (book, magazine, encyclopedia)that has been more thoroughly checked for accuracy. In addition, database websites (see the Biography Resource Center below)are more reliable. You should always write down the web address so you can check for accuracy, and include it in your bibliography. As always, please tell me if you find any broken links.
