This week we will begin working with the surface area of solid shapes. We are reviewing the shapes and learning to find the surface area of rectangular and triangular prisms. We will have our weekly quiz on Friday. Students will have graphic organizers and notes to be studying. Reminder that all students have a textbook that should be at home to help with their study.

Students are encouraged to go to "Study Island" online and work with the activities assigned to their class. These lessons are great reviews of skills that we are currently working on or have had in the first semester.

Midterm reports were sent home on Thursday the 9th and are to be returned and signed by Tuesday, Feb 14th.

Reminder that there will be no school on Monday, February 20th.

May 23rd will be a regular school day. This day will be the make-up day for the snow day on January 13th.

Yearbooks are on sale again. An order form was sent home and the deadline for orders is Feb. 15th.

We are asking all students to be prepared for class with homework and materials. (2 pencils, red pen, folders, spirals, and paper)

It is very important that students get their time tracker filled in correctly at school with their assignments. This is such a great way to stay organized and be prepared for class.
