Hello! We are now studying the Holocaust and reading Anne Frank. There are many sites available for researching the Holocaust. I have included the research assignment and some helpful links. The Holocaust Research Project Due: March 20, 2001 Your final project will be in booklet for, with each section consisting of a page or more. It should have front and back covers, a table of contents, and a bibliography. I. Geography a. This section should include a map of the area that is relevant to your topic. On this map, you must locate and label significant areas. b. This section should include a paragraph with the following information: 1. What is your topic? 2. What significance does your topic have to the Holocaust? 3. Geographically, what is interesting about your topic? 4. Name five other important places during the Holocaust. II. History a. This section should include a timeline with major events in the history of the Holocaust or specifically your topic. Include the following information: 1. a paragraph about what the Holocaust was 2. a paragraph about the history of the Jewish people and others who were tortured during this time 3. a paragraph about your topic and what it is/was 4. a paragraph about why your topic was important to the Holocaust III. Art/Photographs/Other information a. This section will include interesting information or pictures that you have found and want to include in your project. You must include at least two extra pieces of information to put in this section. It must be significant to your topic or approved by me. Be creative in selecting your pictures/info. IV. Oral Presentation a. You will plan and prepare and oral presentation that will inform the other students in the class about your topic. In your booklet, you will want to include main topics that you will discuss during your presentation. V. Bibliography a. In this section, include all the sources you used for your research. Remember to use correct bibliographical form.
