Welcome, students, researching a Person Who Changed His/Her World!!

1. Books and Report:

  • Books can be chosen from the MD library collection and/or the public library. Approval by Mrs. Casement is required.
  • For the overall project review the assignment here and the assessement here.

    2. Additional sources encompass various multi-media, including but not limited to magazines, podcasts, interviews and speeches. Make sure you fulfill these additional requirements. Your reactions to these resources are required using the links below.

  • You will have additional opportunities to comment on this project via the project blog. See the link below that will take you to the blog. Use your school e-mail (studentlogin@fairport.org) Use Explorer not Mozilla.

    3. Bibliography and Parenthetical Documentation:

    • This project requires a bibliography and parenthetical documentation. When completing research, it's critical that you understand the importance of citing your sources and giving credit to those who deserve it.
    • When copying quotations, you need to give credit to the source using parenthetical documentation. Click here for assistance.

    • EasyBib will help you cite the books, magazines or electronic resources you used for this project. You can access EasyBib from the link listed below.

    4. Cover Sheet:

    • To find photographs for your cover go to Google Images or the FlickrStorm site below. Save both picture and quote in your personal student drive. You will most likely use them for a speech.

    We will provide class time for making a cover.
