Valentine's Day:  Some students have decided that they would like to bring in Valentines for their classmates.  Those who would like to do so should bring the Valentines to school on Monday.

We have begun our study of Church History.

Spirite Day on Tuesday, February 14th is to raise money for Children's Hospital of Richmond.

CARITAS
(Congregations Around Richmond Involved to Assure Shelter)
St. Bridget’s will once again be hosting 40 men during the week of February 18 – February 25 for shelter, meals, hospitality, showers and laundry. We encourage your participation by reaching out to people in need within our community. At any given time, there are upwards of 1400 sheltered and unsheltered homeless people living in Greater Richmond. Of those, about 250 are children, half of them under the age of 2.
Without the generosity of our students and parents, this important ministry would not be possible. Your help is needed by donating items for a light breakfast and nutritious lunch, as well as toiletry items that are given to each guest. Please follow the grade suggestions below, and please bring items to school beginning Monday, February 13th (all items may be brought to the classroom for further distribution by the teachers).
Thank you for helping provide a warm and hospitable place for our CARITAS guests. Please call if you have any questions or would like to volunteer.
With sincere thanks,
Terri Borzelleca Fad (935-6186) Laurie Shepherd (281-7553)
