I am doing fine now but due to complications, Mrs. Severson will begin grading all work this week. I will work on the messages I have and post those grades as quickly as possible.
By Friday I will have everything posted do if you are missing a grade on something you feel you turned in, please turn it in to Mrs. Severson and she will grade it.
Remember the changes in assignments this quarter will be in effect all quarter so do not miss due dates for all submissions.
Here are the things that will be in effect this quarter.
- Due dates are firm dates that if not met, will result in points being deducted.
- All work submitted for grading after Wednesday, 25 April, will be turned in via e-mail.
- All cameras will be secured in the cabinets and signed out each day for use. If your going to use one over night, you must coordinate with the substitute and fill out the sign out log.
- Memory cards for all cameras must also be signed out each class so accountability can be maintained.
- All "Proposals & Treatments" will be submitted via Quia surveys, listed below. Once submitted, I will reply back to the email address provided thus you will have your feedback to advance.
- Storyboards will be filled out manually and then scanned and sent to me for evaluation. I will keep copies for use in the final video evaluations.
- All finished videos must be sent to me for evaluation.
- Starting this term, I will be using a rubric for each video. The results will be sent to you so it is important to follow the assignment sheet and your storyboard in order to receive highest possible points.
Group assignments have been made. Note that group 1 is all seniors. Your will have to complete all assignments NLT 1 June in order for me to get them evaluated and record grades. This is one week early so it should not be any problem for your group.
In order to have a back up system, I have created a new Hotmail account should outlook go down. I sent you the address in a message on Monday so make sure you add it to your address book along with my outlook address.
We have had problems off and on all year with sound. I discovered what I think is our problem. When a group uses the wireless microphones, they make changes to the sound system on the big cameras. The next group then comes in and tapes and has no sound. They did not turn the sound channel back on. So from now on get the headsets and verify your sound "BEFORE" you tape.
Here is what is on the calendar for the rest of the term. Note the due dates for your proposals and treatments. Hit these dates so that you have time to get your video shot and edited.
