Welcome to Business Law! This year we will be discovering how laws in your personal and business world will affect you and your life choices. We hope to visit a real courtroom and watch a jury selection and a trial. You will enjoy the many cases and outcomes that we will explore.

Course Description

Business Law is an in-depth look and exploration of the world of Law in the United States. We will be covering the history of laws, legal systems, courts, our constitutional rights, cyberlaw, contracts, Consideration, Offers and Acceptances. the law of Sales, Property Law, Agency and Employment Law, Business Organization and Borrowing Money and Paying Bills.

We will be taking a field trip to a courtroom sometime this year, and hopefully, get to watch a trial with a jury. We will incorporate guest speakers with expertise in the areas we are studying. There will be a couple of movies that are documented in our book that we will watch excerpts from and we will be writing opion briefs.
