We've moved into the fourth quarter of fourth grade! Wow! Way to go!!!!!!!!!!!! Almost the entire class made their AR goal last quarter. You can do it again! We also kept the trophy for two months for reading the most nonfiction books and biographies.  Great!!!! The two novels we've started this month are "Shades of Gray" and "Chocolate Touch."  Our class is engaging in random acts of kindness this month. Has you child told you about that?  Students will have a variety of writing to show off at Artists and Author's Night scheduled for May 5. Mark your calendars everybody!  Students are writing a first person narrative from Rosa Park's perspective.  They are also using Inspiration to prepare a piece of writing that reinforces their knowledge of Virginia History. Study those Quiz Bowl cards to prepare for the Quiz Bowl Competition between all fourth grade classes on May 9.  Mrs. Pennycuff will be our host!
