Goal Statement:
This course will assist students to demonstrate the ability to verbalize immediate needs and recognize, write and comprehend common sight words. As students gain confidence in simple English, they will improve their sense of self-worth, achieve independence and employability in their life. They will be able to locate and recognize job ads, and perform rountine entry-level jobs. With knowledge of number recognition, simple math ability, they will be able to finance their family budget and become wise consumers in daily life. As they realize themselves as a part of the mainstream, they will be able to appreciate, anticipate and contribute themselves in community activities.
