JUST FOUR MORE WEEKS OF SCHOOL!
Oh, but those are going to be busy weeks! We are completing our PowerPoint Autobiographies. Friday, May 5th is Cinco de Mayo. Second grade will have a fiesta at lunch time that day. On May 12th, our school will have Field Day (Afun day for everyone). On May 18th, we will go to the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center in Athens. Second graders and their parents always enjoy this trip.
This week we are reading Come A Tide. We will also be doing some activities to help us learn more about Mexico.
Please continue to practice counting money and telling time.
