Week of May 21st:We are continuing to read The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Remember that the project is due on Wednesday, May 30th. Please look below for the project description sheet and rubrics. If you'd like to finish off the year with a strong average, then I suggest that you keep up with the nightly Cornell notes assignment, ask for help if you're having difficulty with the comprehension of the book and attend extra help for reviews of what we discuss in class! Please remember that if you are absent, then everything that you need to know is posted on this website page under homework. The Cornell notes can also be accessed underneath the homework link. It is your responsibility to access these materials.

I am available for extra help this week on Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon.

Monday, May 21st: Work on your Tom Sawyer project which is due May 30th and review your Cornell notes. We finished reading and discussing through chapter 21 in A period; chapter 22 in C and D periods and 22 in G period today.
Tuesday, May 22nd: Work on your Tom Sawyer project and review your Cornell notes.
Wednesday, May 23rd: Work on your Tom Sawyer project and review your Cornell notes. We read and discussed through chapter 25 with most classes (the ending line of the chapter was " ...the slow days drifted on, and each left behind it...apprehension. D period read through chapter 26. Please make every effort to catch up on the reading when you are absent.
Thursday, May 24th: We flew ahead in the book and with the notes today since we were doubled up on English classes. Most classes were able to read through chapter 27/28. Your only homework is to work on your Tom Sawyer project.
