CEIP 2001-2001 SCHOOL YEAR REQUESTS
Applications have been submitted by eighteen (18) students to explore the following careers during the next school year.
*Social Work/Psychology/Counseling (4)
*Architecture
*Education (2)
*Handicaps/Disabilities (2)
(physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech & language)
(hearing/visual impairments)
*Fashion Design (2) (consulting and costume design)
*Radio Personality/Promotion
*Advertising/Marketing
(this student will be placed at Blue Cross/Blue Shield in Syracuse)
*Sports Marekting/Management
*Medicine (2)
(these students will be placed at University Hospital)
*Interior Decorating
Every effort is being made at this time to secure employers to meet the above requests. Placements will continue until all students have employers and mentors.
Internships are becoming available in the fields of engineering and information technology (computer field). Several local engineering firms and computer firms have expressed interest in taking student interns. Don't miss out on some exciting opportunities. These career fields are expanding rapidly!!
It's not too late to sign up for CEIP for the next school year. If you would like to know more or are interested in taking CEIP next year, see your Counselor immediately to pick up an application, fill it out, and turn it in to Mrs. Bakker in the Main Office. No applications will be accepted for fall after June 1.
