Mythology Speech Project


Each student will make a speech as someone from Greek mythology in English class. This person will then be the character he/she will represent at the Greek Banquet on March 6.

The speech must include:
Who you are. (God/goddess/monster/etc)
Your Greek and Roman name.
Your sign or symbol.
Your major duty or job.
A myth that you were directly involved in.
A current problem (2001-2) that you are concerned about as this particular person from mythology.

The student should be giving the speech in the first person as if they are this person from mythology.

On the due date the student should give me a written copy of their speech, but the speech itself should be given using some kind of notecards for better eye contact.

Students need to be ready to present their speeches on Wednesday, February 27,2002.
