Kindergarten is almost over! We've had a terrific year and I want to thank all of you for sharing your children with me! Many, many thanks too for your wonderful support! It has been a pleasure working with you and your child as they enter the world of school! I'm sure they will continue to be very successful in the years to come, with such awesome parental involvement. As we discussed in August, education is a three way partnership, (parent, child & teacher), and a journey of discovery, NOT a race! Please continue to enjoy the journey with your child.
The kindergarten picnic is on Friday, May 18 on the covered pavilion here at Timbers. Watch folders for more information about how much $ to send for the pizza.
The kindergarten program is on the last day of school, Thursday, May 24 at 9:00 a.m., in the Timbers cafeteria. A letter will be sent next week about the costumes we want the children to wear for photos to be used in a powerpoint presentation during the program. Once again, check those folders daily!
We have special activities planned every day of that last week, so when that note arrives, you may want to put it on the fridge for a handy reminder!
