~~~Mr. D's Chem class for the week of May 10, 2004~~~

After a short hiatus, our class webpage is back up to date.

We'll start the week by jumping into the Air Unit. We discussed the composition of the atmosphere last week. Students should keep their "atmosphere" article and the worksheet that went along with it for notes.

Odd block class final chem projects are DUE Thursday, May 20th.

Even block class final chem projects are DUE Friday, May 21st.

Monday/Tuesday:

We'll start with a look at molar volume and related problems. Today will be a fair amount of new infomration and notes so hang in there.

Homework Due: Be ready to describe your ideas for your final chem project and turn it in for me to review.

Homework Assigned: 1) YT p. 354 and 2) Rest of Grams, Moles, Liters Conversion Worksheet started in class.

Wednesday/Thursday:

We'll start class by checking and reviewing your homework before continuing on with a look at Boyle's Law and Charle's Law.

Homework Assigned: Remainder of Boyles, Charles', and Combined Gas Law Worksheets not completed in class.

Homework Due: 1) YT p. 354 and 2) Rest of Grams, Moles, Liters Conversion Worksheet started in class.

Friday(May 14)/Monday(May 17):

We'll be doing the best lab of the year (in my opinion)...the Rocket Lab.

Homework Assigned: Complete a full lab report based upon your Rocket Lab experience.

Homework Due: Remainder of Boyles, Charles', and Combined Gas Law Worksheets not completed in class.
