Dear Parents and Students,
At Camplearnalot, we are excited to see new faces coming to Camp Cherokee. We will open house onThursday, August 2 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. in the classroom. I hope you and your child can drop by to meet me in the classroom. School starts on Monday, August 6. Lots of information about our school, our classroom and me will be given to you on August 6.
I have lots of wonderful experiences planned for the year with new Common Core Standards of learning in math and language arts. We will be widening our knowledge through science, social studies, writing, reading, math and sooooo much more! As our adventure begins at Camplearnalot, please remember
daily to:
1. tell your child you love them with hugs and tickles
2. pack a nutritious snack/drink daily
3. send a backpack daily
4. READ! READ! READ!
5. ask your child what math and language "tools" they used for the day
6. ask your child if they were a "bucket filler" for the day
