Six Flags Trip on Monday, May 24!
Clothing should meet school dress code.
6:20 a.m. CST Arrive at Pizitz with cash for lunch, snacks, games, souvenirs,
and dinner. Also, you may bring a drink with a lid (write
name on lid) and a neat snack. There will not be an ice chest.
6:30 a.m. CST Leave Pizitz
10:00 a.m. EST Arrive at Six Flags Over Georgia
6:00 p.m. EST Leave Six Flags Over Georgia
6:30 p.m. EST Eat dinner at Bremen exit (several fast food places)
8:30 p.m. CST Return to Pizitz
Please call math team voice mail at 402-5360
after 7:00 p.m. CST to verify our arrival time. We may return
earlier or later depending on road construction and traffic.
Parents: Please support the Vestavia Hills Rotary Club Iron Chef Competition. The Rotary donates to our academic teams. With shrinking state and school budgets, their help is ever more valuable!
General Information for All Tournaments
1. No student may leave with someone other than their parent unless the sponsor
has received written permission from the parent which identifies the
person.
2. A parent may pick up their child after testing, but should make prior
arrangements with the sponsor as to time and meeting place. A sponsor must
see the student with the parent (or identified adult) before the student leaves
the tournament.
3. Students must always be with a “buddy” as they move around the tournament campus, mall or restaurant, including going to a restroom. Sixth Grade students will be assigned to a lunch time chaperone and must stay with their group and chaperone.
4. Students must follow the Vestavia City Schools Board of Education bus rules, behavior rules and dress code.
