WELCOME TO MS. MELTON'S CIVICS & ECONOMICS CLASS!
Dear Students and Parents,
I am very excited to be at Byrd Middle School this year. Henrico County Public Schools are not new to me. I previously taught Civics & Economics at John Rolfe Middle School. My students and I did many active lessons that I am looking forward to sharing with students at Byrd. This summer has also been a busy one for me as I have learned even more activities that should help students have a successful year.
I look forward to meeting many of you at the beginning of the school year. Keep an eye out for a parent letter that will be sent home during the first week of school. This letter will help to give you more insight into what the year will hold.
