AES Engineering Solutions Scholarship is being offered to high school students. Their belief is that achieving a high grade point average should not be the only criteria for determining who deserves to be helped. For that reason, this $500 scholarship will be awarded on the basis of character, as debermined by the essays that are submitted. Students must submit an essay of no more than 1000 words in answer to one of the two questions: Explan the importance o fyour current studies in today's society; There is a general agreement that our economy is in trouble. Illinois Sons of Italy Foundation offers a scholarship opportunity to seniors who are full or partially of Italian Ancestry. Applicants will be selected on the basis of financial need, scholarstic achievements, activities showing character and leadership, applicant's personal essay and faculty recommendations.
