Welcome to community service! Please use this website to help you. Here's a description of community service. There are important dates and deadlines on the calendar. There are forms and informational sheets for students, parents and service sites should you need an electronic copy. If you need any more help, feel free to email me. Good luck!
*First, before you do anything, you need to have your parent sign the Consent_Form *If you know of a place that you want to volunteer, fill out this site request form and return it to my mail box at school (Room 852) or email me.
*If you do not know a place, here are some suggestions: 1) your local public library; 2) your old elementary school; 3) a nursing home near you 4) www.idealist.org and look under "volunteer"
*Once you have a site, you need to fill out and turn in a form to me each marking period.

REMEMBER - if you want a grade for the semester, an evaluation of you by your site supervisor must be handed in! You can print out a copy if you lost it (see below - "Agency Evaluation of Student") or ask your supervisor to go to this link: http://www.quia.com/sv/107630.html
We need to have your written consent to have your child participate in community service. If your child did not obtain a copy of it at school, feel free to print out a copy and have your student bring it to school or email me.
