Language Arts Grade 7
Civics Grade 7

Language Arts-The student will demonstrate correct use of language, spelling, and mechanics by applying grammatical conventions in writing and speaking. The student will continue to read a wide variety of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry and continue vocabulary development.

Civics-The student will examine the roles citizens play in the political, governmental, and economic systems in the United States.

Class Expectations-Students should come to class each day with completed assignments, pencils, paper, and textbooks. Students should make learning their priority while in class and treat everyone with respect.

Lang. Arts-Grammar---Students will return to the study of grammar soon.
Literature-Reading and discussing short stories and poetry. SOL retakes will be given Monday. Spelling---Lesson 30 (clipped words). Worksheets p66-67. Test on May 13. click here for Civics Pacing Guide
