Homework will be fairly consistant every week, with various assignments added depending on what we are doing in class. If classwork is not finished before the student leaves school, that work will become homework and must be completed at home. I may make changes to the homework as the week goes on depending on what occurs in the classroom. Sometimes we get behind or even get ahead. If you have any questions about the assignments please let me know.
Every night students are required to read thirty minutes. They have a reading log that they are to bring home every night for you to sign, varifing that they did read for thirty minutes. The reading log should come back to school every day so that I can check it off. On the weekends I am only asking that they read thirty minutes for the whole weekend. If they choose to read more, that is great!
Most nights students will have a math assignment in either the book or workbook.
Wednesday nights there will be a spelling assignment for the students to complete in order to prepare for Thursday's spelling test. The spelling words can be found on the school website on the fourth grade page.
