Ok 2011!  We have been busy in classrooms K-5th with activities that illustrate our January/February/March themes.  These themes include: Responsible school behaviors (KA & KB), Co-operation (1st grade), Peer Pressure (2nd grade), Tolerance (3rd grade), Choices-Consequences-Decisions (4th grade), Handling Rude and Irritating Behaviors (5th grade).  For our teacher Advisory program we are matching up the theme to the celebration of Martin Luther King & exploring " Diversity & Working Together" with a fun group activity.  All of these themes and activities are designed to support  anti-bullying within our school.

Remember, if you need to contact me, I am available by email and phone and I'm in the office Monday,Tuesday, and Thursday.  Stay warm and think Spring!

This year, I am including two new links(see below) that offer wonderful resources for parents in the Richmond area. The first listed is  Commonwealth Parenting, which offers various parenting classes throughout the year and offers a free parent advice line which is (804)545-1928.
Jewish Family Services is another area parent/family resource that offers wonderful workshops and groups concerning family issues.
