Weekly Language Arts Information (June 9, 2003)
Weekly Lessons
Monday: TKAM- Journal entry 22-24. Review both vocab. and question sheet for 19-21.
HW: Complete vocab. and questions for chapters 22-24.
Tuesday: TKAM- Review 22-24 vocabulary and questions. Begin chapters 25-28 vocab. in class.
HW: Read chapters 25-28 for tomorrow and complete both vocab. worksheet and reading of the chapters.
Wednesday: Review 25-28 Vocabulary and complete journal entry for chapters 25-28. Students will work on chapters 25-28 discussion questions.
HW: Discussion ques. 25-28 and read chapters 29-31 for Friday.
Thursday: Collect poetry finals and drafts. Review chapters 25-28 discussion questions. Students will work on chapters 29-31 Vocabulary and discussion questions.
HW: Discussion questions and vocab. for chapters 29-31.
Friday: Discuss the end of the book and review vocab.
HW: Make sure journal entries are all completed.
Assignments/HW due this week (or long term):
Remember that you may be randomly quizzed on chapters throughout reading the novel.
Any poems that need to be made up should be worked on at home. Students can assume that there will be a random check/evaulation this week if they were not evaluated last week. Final poems should be brought in on Thursday 6/12.
Next week (9/16):
Students will watch the TKAM movie and complete putting together their poetry collection together. Students will also have graduation practices (varying) all week. See student calendar for more details.
