GETTING STARTED ON PSYCHPREP'S CPSE Online Testing Program OVERVIEW: Access to PSYCHPREP's CPSE Online Testing Program requires registration, and a Username and Password provided to you by email, from the PSYCHPREP office. You can change your Password at any time by clicking on the Useful link below: 'Change Password.' Then enter your Username and Password, click 'my account' in the top right hand corner, and follow the instructions. PSYCHPREP's CPSE Online Testing Program gives you the opportunity to take each test three times with unlimited opportunity to review each test, for up to a full year. The online test subscription ends once the CPSE is passed. The online test subscription is authorized for one user only; access is non-transferable. The online testing program allows you to either complete a test in one sitting, or take a test over multiple sittings. To save a test to continue later there is a 3-step process. Click ‘end quiz,’ click ‘save for later,’ and then click ‘done.’ ONLINE TESTING PROGRAM PSYCHPREP's CPSE Online Testing Program includes: **CPSE Pretest (50 questions) **CPSE Test A (100 questions) **CPSE Test B (100 questions) **CPSE Legal & Ethical Test (100 Questions) **CPSE Workshop Questions (150 Questions) – access only available to workshop and workshop homestudy participants. STUDY SCHEDULE/EXPECTED PROGRESS: The recommended study schedule and guidelines for expected progress can be accessed at the Useful links below: 'CPSE Study Schedule and Expected Progress.' First time scores on PSYCHPREP’s CPSE tests, at or exceeding the recommended cutoffs, are highly predictive of passing. You will be able to take each of the tests three times: once in Study Mode or Workshop Mode, once in Retake Mode, and once in Test Mode. It is strongly recommended that for all tests you first complete the test in Study Mode or Workshop Mode, then Retake Mode (about one - two weeks later), then Test Mode (about one - two weeks after Retake Mode). Do not complete all tests in Study Mode, then all tests in Retake Mode, etc. The testing schedule is set up to intersperse tests in Study Mode, Retake Mode, and Test Mode. INTERRUPTED ACCESS: If for any reason your access to a test is interrupted (e.g., loss of internet, incorrectly ending a test rather than saving it to continue later), click the Useful link below: 'Access Interrupted' to resume your testing. TAKING THE ONLINE TESTS: Click the Useful link below to access the test you desire (e.g., ‘CPSE Pretest,’ ‘CPSE Test A,’ ‘CPSE Workshop Questions’). We recommend you take about 4 hours to complete each test in Study Mode (100 questions), about 3 hours to complete each test in Retake Mode (100 questions), and 2 hours to complete each test in Test Mode (100 questions). ***Before you get started with the online tests, we strongly recommend you also review the crucial information about saving tests and reviewing results, which can be accessed with the useful link below 'How to Save Tests and Review Results.' We welcome your feedback and questions. GOOD LUCK!!
