CPSE WORKSHOP QUESTIONS PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE STARTING ON THE CPSE WORKSHOP QUESTONS! General Information: The CPSE Workshop Questions consist of 150 questions covering the four CPSE domains Section I: Crisis Assessment and Intervention (25 Questions) Section II: Clinical Assessment and Evaluation (25 Questions) Section III: Treatment Interventions (25 Questions) Section IV: Legal and Ethical Standards (75 Questions) Access to the CPSE Workshop is available only to PSYCHPREP programs participants in the CPSE Combo Package, CPSE Workshop, CPSE Workshop Homestudy, and CPSE Homestudy with Weekend Workshop Homestudy. For participants completing the CPSE Weekend Workshop as a homestudy, the CPSE Workshop Questions should be taken for the first time (in Workshop Mode) while following along with the audio CDs and the PowerPoint packet. Ideally, the CPSE Workshop Questions should be taken after completing the CPSE Pretest and after thoroughly reading the CPSE Study Volume at least once, or even twice. A score of 95 - 100+/150 is a strong starting score. The Weekend Workshop Questions are very difficult! You will be able to take the CPSE Workshop Questions three times: Workshop Mode, Retake Mode, and Test Mode. You will be able to review your results as often as you like. WORKSHOP MODE: It is strongly recommended the first time you take the CPSE Workshop Questions, you complete the questions in Workshop Mode. In Workshop Mode, the CPSE Workshop Questions are broken into 10 parts. Sections I – III are each one part, while Section IV is broken into seven parts. In Workshop Mode, all test items for a given part are presented, and you must complete all items before you will have the opportunity to review the rationales. You are strongly encouraged to listen along to each part as it is reviewed on the audio CDs. Allow about 1 - 1.5 hours for each part (including the audio review). RETAKE MODE: We recommend you wait to take the CPSE Workshop Questions in Retake Mode for about 1 - 2 weeks after completing the CPSE Workshop Questions in Workshop Mode. In Retake Mode, the CPSE Workshop Questions are broken into two parts. Part 1 is 75 questions, and consists of Section I: Crisis Assessment and Intervention (25 Questions), Section II: Clinical Assessment and Evaluation (25 Questions), and Section III: Treatment Interventions (25 Questions). Part 2 is also 75 questions, covering Section IV: Legal and Ethical Standards. The test software will prompt you to review the rationale for each question immediately after completing the question. A question missed in Retake Mode represents a personal red flag, a question you may miss on the actual exam unless you take some action! Allow 2 hours to complete each part of the CPSE Workshop Questions in Retake Mode. It is expected that you will miss fewer than half as many items in Retake Mode as you missed in Workshop Mode. TEST MODE: You should complete the test in Test Mode about 1 - 2 weeks after Retake Mode. In Test Mode, all 150 test items are presented, and you must complete all items before you will have the opportunity to review the rationales. Allow 3 hours to complete the items in Test Mode. In is expected that you should score at least 145/150 in Test Mode.
