¡Bienvenidos a la clase de español!

This is my favorite castle, El Alcázar of Segovia, located in the central Castille region of Spain. This summer I had the privilege of revisiting Spain for three weeks! I hope you can visit there someday. I know you'll love it and communicating in Spanish will enrich your experience beyond belief!

Since learning another language takes lots of mental training and memorization, I assign homework most days in Spanish class. It is almost always due the following day. I do not accept late homework any more and the students know this! The students are given time to record the assignment in their agenda/planner. You can always look there to find the current assignment!

Beginners:
We are now beginning the Unidad 2 Lección 1 section (Unit 2 Lesson 1) of our textbook, Avancemos. In this unit they will: *talk about their daily schedules) *ask and tell time *say what they have and have to do *say what they do and have to do *say what they do and how often they do things

Intermediates:
You continue to expand your vocabulary as well as learn grammar patterns that you'll continue to use forever! Remember that we learn by repetition and that reviewing material daily is the BEST way to succeed. We are beginning Unidad 4 Lección 2, which covers:

*Describing places and events in town
*Talking about types of transportation *Saying what you are going to do
*Order from a menu
