Hi this is research on Mr.s Butlers Social studies classes Ecuador> Argentina> Colombia> Chile> And so on> There is some helpful about the countries below><><
Colombia>Colombia was one of the three countries that emerged from the collapse of Gran Colombia in 1830 (the others being Ecuador and Venezuela). A 40-year insurgent campaign to overthrow the Colombian Government escalated during the 1990s, undergirded in part by funds from the drug trade. Although the violence is deadly and large swaths of the countryside are under guerrilla influence, the movement lacks the military strength or popular support necessary to overthrow the government. While Bogota continues to try to negotiate a settlement, neighboring countries worry about the violence spilling over their borders. There are some facts about Colombia Argentina>You hear plenty of talk about gauchos and the tango when you mention Argentina, but for many travelers it's the country's natural wonders that are the primary attraction. They range from the northern deserts to the southern Andean cordillera and from IguazĂș Falls to the magnificent desolation of Patagonia. On top of this there's the capital Buenos Aires - a fabulous city either renowned for its sophistication or derided for its derivative neo-European culture, depending on which way you choose to look at such things. There are some facts about Argentina Ecuador>The Republic of Ecuador straddles the Equator. It is bordered by Colombia to the North and Northeast and Peru to the south and southeast. Ecuador is one of the smallest countries in South America: it is about the size of the state of Nevada. Yet despite it's small size, Ecuador is one of the most geographically varied countries in the world. If you have any of these countries this info. will be helpful I will update daily
