The movie is now out, with many great reviews. Some critics have called it the BEST movie of the year from a major studio, and not just for kids!
Congratulations to our trivia contest winners: Kim, Jordan, and Kyzay! They each received autographed copies of Holes. While he was signing them, I had a brief chance to talk with him. He asked for an example of a question I used, so I mentioned this one: "Why did Stanley think that Zero got sick from drinking the Sploosh, but he did not?" I have a picture of Sachar with my son; ask me to see it!
