En este capítulo, aprenderás a hacer lo siguiente en español:

• order food or a beverage in a restaurant
• identify eating utensils and place settings
• identify more foods
• make a reservation at a restaurant
• talk about present and past events
• describe some cuisines of the Hispanic world

Estudiar: Make sure you are studying the vocabulary from your text (p. 52 [you have a copy of this page]) and that you are familiar with the verb meaning and how to conjugate them in present and past tense. The following verbs are all stem-changing, boot verbs in the present tense (the first E changes to an I in all forms of the present tense except...NOSOTROS and VOSOTROS):

• pedir (to ask [for something])
• servir
• seguir
• vestirse
• repetir
• freír

See p. 38 of the text for present tense conjugations. You will also have notes highlighting verb conjugations. Past tense conjugations for some of the verbs are on p. 40 of the text.
