Read The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig. Discuss the changes just changing the viewpoint made. Apply to Rikki Tikk Tavi. Consider story from viewpoint of the snakes. Plan how you could retell the story in a shorter form as a children's book from the snake's perspective. Make a plot map.
