Welcome to Pre-Algebra at TLS This page is for students who are in my Pre-Algebra class and their parents. Please use this page to check out what is happening in math class. In the beginning of the year there will lots of review.....That's good! But have no fear, as usual, math will get a little more difficult as we move through the year! For the most part we will begin each class period with a quick check of the previous day's assignment, then go on to discuss the new lesson, do some practice problems, ask questions, and have some time to get started on the new assignment. Normally I will assign the entire problem set (1-30) although I may make exceptions on some days. All assignments are due on the next class day! We will have tests every week or two, and these will be worth 3 regular homework assignments. IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING.....PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS! I like math and I am here to help. If you are working on a problem set later in the day and you don't understand, you can come to my office during a free period, at lunch, or after school.
