Dear Friend and Parents,
I am so glad to have you in my class this year. I can't wait to get to know you better.
I am looking forward to this new and exciting kindergarten year. Please check the book bag each night for your child's B.E.E. book. B.E.E. stands for Bring Everything Everyday! This is a good way for me to receive notes, money and for homework to be returned to school.
We will be working on knowing each letter, the sound it represents and finally we will be reading!
Math can be exciting! We will be counting little donkeys, making animals out of shapes, and making patterns out of everything we can find in the classroom or in the kitchen cabinets at home.
We are also going to become scientist! We will be observing how things look, smell, sound, taste and feel. There will be a lot more exploring to do this year!
