One-Room vs. Our school
Brooke - I think punishments were better back then because they it taught kids a lesson.
Dylan - I think it's better now because we have T.V. so kids can become smarter.
Jessica - I like the pot bellied stoves from then because kids could cook on them.
Tyler - I liked when kids had to get up at 5:00 in the morning. It taught kids responsibilites.
Mariah - I thought kids were behaved better back then.
Now if you get in trouble, you only have to miss recess.
Tanner - I thought school was harder then. They had to learn cursive in 1st grade!
Heath - I like the fact that we have nicer teachers now.
Justin - I like recess now because we get to have freedom.
Brittny Acosta - I thought churning butter was good. It taught kids responsiblities.
Matthew - I like having electricity and everything electrical.
Brittney Davis - I like having papers and colors instead of just slates.
Sterling - I think it would be fun to only have one room in the school.
Duoc - I liked my school in Vietnam better because we could go out to lunch.
Billy - I like schools now because we don't have to go to the outhouse.
Cody - I like things now, because we have cars to get around.
Jordan - There's things I like about both times. I really like how they had to walk to school in the snow.
Lindsee - I would have liked it then, because you could stay and help the teacher after school
