MTH 271 Applied Calculus I- Presents limits, continuity, differentiation of algebraic and transcendental functions with applications and an introduction to intergration.
Mth 272 Applied Calculus II- Covers techniques of integration, multivariable calculus and an introduction to differential equations.
VHCC MTH 173 Calculus with Analytic Geometry I - Prerequisite: Analysis (teacher recommendation and placement test). Presents analytic geometry and the calculus of algebraic and transcendental functions including the study of limits, derivatives, differentials, and introduction to integration along with their applications.
VHCC MTH 174 Calculus with Analytic Geometry II - Prerequisite: VHCC Calculus 173 with Analytic Geometry I. This continues the study of analytic geometry and the calculus of algebraic and transcendental functions including rectangular, polar, and parametric graphing, indefinite and definite integrals, methods of integration, and power series along with applicationa.
VHCC courses will have the traditional 10 point college grading scale.
In all courses grades will be taken on pop quizzes, tests, major tests, and notebook quizzes.
