Welcome to class! Today you will be learning all about tessellations and their mathematics and use today. We will also cover how M.C. Escher made tessellations and view some of his works. Below are some great websites for viewing M.C. Escher's tessellations, trying to make your own, and finding more information if you are really interested. If you are interested in earning extra credit for math class, make a tessellation using an animal, face, or other such object with it repeating at least 5 times. Show the tessellation to Mr. Williams. Must be turned in no later than October 25th.
