Beginning April 1, the students will have the opportunity to learn more about individual events. They have been given a project, which is due May 1st. They will be able to perform a humorous interpretation, dramatic interpretation, duet acting, duo interpretation, or original oratory. It is the student's choice in which direction they wish to pursue. I am showing video examples in class of each event and we are going over the necessary requirements. All of these are to be memorized and should be between 8-10 minutes. Their research will be done outside of class, but I am giving them some class time to work on these. This will be a major project grade. All scripts performed must be from a published source and a copy of the script will be turned in. All orations will be typed and turned in, on day of class performance.
