WELCOME TO 8TH GRADE SCIENCE
I hope you are enjoying your summer vacation. I'll be looking forward to meeting you in September. We have an exciting year ahead of us. This year we will be learning about Astronomy, Chemical Reactions, Cells and Heredity, and Weather and Climate. I have some engaging activities planned that will hopefully spark a love for science in each of you. By June, you will be more than ready for the challenges of 9th grade.
The following is a list of what you will need for science class each day.
1. A 1 or 1 ½ inch – 3 ring binder
2. Filler paper
3. Binder section dividers: Handouts (TOCs), Graded work (quizzes, tests, labs), Notes
4. Composition notebook
5. Pencils or erasable pens.
