In Unit Six of our text, Discovering French: Blanc, culturally speaking, you will learn what the French mean when they talk about chez moi; what French houses look like.
In terms of communication, you will learn to tell where you live; to describe your house, its rooms and its furnishings.
You will also learn to describe past events with more precision. You will be able to (a) say what you were doing at a certain time in the past; (b) to describe the background for past events: what the weather was like, what was happening, what people were wearing, and what they were thinking and feeling; (c) to talk about what you used to do on a regular basis.
