Unité 9: Bonne route!
In Unit Nine of our text, Discovering French: Blanc, culturally speaking, you will learn that in France, as in the United States, the car plays an important role in people's daily lives. In this unit, you will learn about the kinds of cars French people drive, and you will learn about French driving habits.
In terms of communication, you will learn how to name different kinds of vehicles, to identify the different parts of the car, and to ask for assistance at a service station.
You will also learn to how to describe how you feel about certain events; how to describe the sequence in which you do certain things; how to say what you and other people have to do; and how to tell others what you want or expect them to do.
Unité Nine is divided into four lessons:
