Notebook due dates for 7th grade: 1/29/10, 04/23/10
Every attempt is made to maintain this website up to date. However, all dates are subject to change because students may master material faster or slower than is anticipated or special events may occur which remove children from class. Therefore, please check this website but understand that students may be given different information. Students will meet daily, Monday - Friday.
Monday, Nov. 23: LAB: Practicing getting a prepared slide in focus on high power for the test on Tuesday.
Tuesday, Nov. 24: TEST. Chapter 3.
Wednesday, Nov. 25: 7A only. Preparing for mass.
Monday, Nov. 30: No school: Thanksgiving break.
Tuesday, Dec. 1: Reconciliation. Collect books on the Nature of Science and pass out books on Cells. Set up notebook for third quarter. Work on vocabulary for the first chapter in class. Students who were absent on the 24th will take the test.
Wednesday, Dec. 2: Check vocabulary for chapter 1. Give practice time for students who did not complete the skills portion of the test to work with the microscope. Assign vocabulary quiz for Friday.
Thursday, Dec. 3: Field trip.
Friday, Dec. 4: Vocabulary quiz over the vocabulary for chapter 1. Handouts for the chapter given and retesting of students over the skills portion of the test. Work on section 1.1 questions. Due. Tuesday, Dec. 8th.
Monday, Dec. 7: Discuss life processes. Time to work on section questions.
Tuesday, Dec. 8: Mass: Short period. Check section 1.1 and assign 1.2 for Thursday.
Wednesday, Dec. 9: Earth history. Class time to complete 1.2.
Thursday, Dec. 10: Check section 1.2. Assign 1.3 for Monday, 14th. Class time to work.
Friday, Dec. 11: Half day. No class.
